First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Texas AirSystems.
Project Manager
I met them at a career fair and they invited me for an interview the next day after looking at my resume. The interview had two people and they asked behavioral questions mixed with some questions about HVAC systems. About three weeks later, they told me I advanced to the next stage and needed to complete a personality assessment. I declined the offer because I wanted to work in a different industry, but I was really impressed with the company and its employees.
- What would you do if a coworker asked for help when you were already overwhelmed?
Sales Engineer
So, I first talked to recruiters at a career fair on campus. Then, I had my first interview on campus the next day. I felt pretty good about it, but then I didn't hear back for two whole months, even though they said it would be within a month. The second round was in Dallas, where I did a group case study. We were in a group of four and had to present our best solution to some engineers.
- Can you tell me about something you learned in your classes that you think would be useful for this role?
Intern
I met recruiters at a career fair and then had a follow-up interview with two of them the next day. They were really nice and we had a great conversation about me and the company. I ended up turning down their offer because I got a better one somewhere else.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself and how you'd approach a situation where you're unsure of what to do?
Inside Sales Representative
The interview experience in Irving was pretty chill and informal. The people who interviewed me were cool and easy to chat with. I'd suggest this role to anyone looking to get into the HVAC business. It seems like a solid company to work for, in my view.
- Do you have prior experience in HVAC?
