Quality Manager
I applied online and got a 15-minute call with a recruiter, followed by a 30-minute Teams interview with the hiring manager, which went really well. They mentioned a panel interview onsite that the recruiter was supposed to schedule, but then I was ghosted and never heard back.
- What do you dislike about being a manager?
Lab Manager
So I started with a presentation that was supposed to be 30 minutes, but they only gave me the topic two days before, after I had to chase them for direction. The presentation started late because some people were late, and then it kept getting interrupted by questions. At one point, they asked me how much longer I had to go because we had to stay on schedule, which was a rough start. The rest of the interview was split into sections with different supervisors. One interviewer wasn't interested in hearing about me and just wanted to answer my questions.
- Tell me about your experience developing a GLP lab and your approach to quality assurance.
Customer Excellence Manager
Had a 3 stage interview process, all focused on my past experience. First the HR Director, then the Director of Sales, and finally the Managing Director. Since the role is in Sales and Marketing, they asked about my track record on hitting targets, any special achievements, marketing projects I've led, and how I've handled key accounts.
- Can you discuss your experience in key account management, backing it up with examples?
