I also had a small prep task about the event – researching sponsor profiles, news sources, and growth opportunities. After that, there was another phone discussion, and then they made an offer.

I had a good first stage interview on teams with glowing feedback, no negatives. Then I was invited for stage 2, where I had to present a marketing strategy. However, 15 minutes before my interview, they cancelled it, saying they had an emergency and would reschedule. It's been 2 weeks and I've chased them but had nothing back. What a waste of time.

The entire interview process took about a week and a half. A recruiter helped me secure an interview despite my lack of direct experience in this field. The first interview was in London with two team managers and another producer. Following that, I was invited back to give a presentation on a conference project I created, covering aspects like topics, structure, and target audiences. Finally, I met with the Managing Director and received a job offer during that meeting.
