They gave me a 15-minute call to chat about why I'd want to work there, going over my qualifications briefly. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview with two sales team members. We talked about why I want the job, why they should hire me, and why sales. After that, I had another interview with the hiring manager. I had to wait an hour and a half for this one because they were in a meeting, which was a bit of a red flag. The hiring manager then gave me a really intense questionnaire for two hours to see if I'd fit in. He also lectured me on what he's looking for in a candidate, saying things like the best sales associates skip lunch and that he didn't like when an employee had to visit a sick relative in the hospital. It sounds like a really stressful, competitive place with very low benefits and pay, making it hard to live comfortably.

So, I had a similar experience to what someone else posted. It started with a phone call from HR, pretty standard stuff like talking about my last job and areas for improvement. Then they had me come in for an onsite interview at their Fullerton office. Honestly, the road outside was a mess, tons of potholes, I was worried about my car! Anyway, I met a really nice sales manager who showed me around and asked about my technical background. That went well, so they invited me back for a third interview. But then, things changed. The vibe got way less friendly. The third interview was with the main sales guy and another manager. The main sales guy was late. He asked me to sell him a microwave and was super critical, only giving negative feedback on my presentation. The other manager told me that if I got the job, I wouldn't be able to leave my desk if a sales call came in because someone else might 'steal the call'. He even said I wouldn't be allowed to go to the bathroom. I thought he was joking, but he was dead serious. The whole company culture just wasn't for me. I would have turned down any offer for my own well-being.

I applied for a job and got an email for a phone interview. It was short, about 15 mins, and just basic questions. Then they scheduled me for an in-person interview that was around 2 hours. They gave me a sheet metal part and asked me to identify it and suggest improvements. They also asked other questions to check my problem-solving abilities. For the next interview, I met the Head of Sales to assess my verbal and technical explanation skills. Finally, I briefly met the owner to talk about the company and opportunities. I got the offer and started working a couple of days later.

I applied on Monsters and got a phone interview. The interviewer asked basic questions like 'tell me about yourself' and about my experience or projects. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview. During this interview, I was asked to analyze a sheet metal part and suggest ways to improve it. I was also given a simple math problem involving calculating the area and perimeter of a shape. Following that, I had to complete a hands-on test using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, where I needed to create a sheet metal part and modify existing parts in both software. The interview went okay. Afterwards, I was invited for a second interview with a supervisor. He asked more basic interview questions to ensure I was a good fit. It's been two weeks, and I'm still waiting for an email.
