Group Behavioral

The trainee process generally takes 2 months. It includes a logical reasoning test, a group activity, and an individual interview, followed by an offer. Communication with HR is good; they respond quickly to emails and WhatsApp. It's important to understand the sector and have some internship experience related to the department you're applying to.

Initially, I had a phone call where they explained the selection process, the offered salary, and asked some specific questions about me, like my approved subjects. Afterward, I was sent some tests: a reading comprehension test, a logic test, and a math test. Passing those tests led to an in-person group interview. In this interview, there were different tasks involving Legos, where we had to build and explain our creations. Some later tasks involved connecting our constructions with others. Finally, they administered an English test just to record my level, but passing the previous stage means you're already part of their 'talent pool'.

Behavioral

The hiring process was quick, and they didn't take long to finalize the hire. They have everything very well organized to explain the benefits the company offers as an employee, everything very clear. - just as a note in my position they sell the vacancy as something very different from what they actually expect from you as an employee. it was more like coordination but in reality you are responsible for production.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

I had a really bad experience with Ternium for their IT Trainee program. They called me, and I accepted. After a phone chat, I did a case study and then interviewed with the CTO. I thought I did well and got good feedback, but in the end, they didn't even give me a response. I tried contacting 3 people involved in the hiring process via email, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn, but I was ignored. It's hard to understand how a company invites a candidate, they go through all the stages including an interview with the CTO, and the company can't even bother to reply. Terrible experience, it seems like an unorganized HR department with slow and impersonal processes.
