Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Terex Corporation.
Commercial Analyst
It was a pretty simple process. Started with an HR call, then a video interview with the hiring manager, and finally an in-person team panel interview. HR called me before the official offer was sent.
- Can you explain what a CTE table is in SQL?
Commercial Analyst
The interview process felt pretty laid back. No typical 'how would you handle X' or whiteboard exercises. I met directly with the team members, and it wasn't an HR-led thing. Overall, it was a good experience, though a bit disorganized.
- Tell me about a time you were stuck on a problem. What steps did you take to get unstuck and resolve it?
Financial Analyst
Had one phone chat with the recruiter. They asked the usual stuff like, can you introduce yourself, what's making you look for a new gig, why this place specifically? Also wanted a quick rundown of my past work that fits what they're looking for. Then it was on to my strengths and weaknesses. They also brought up how much I was making in my last role and what I'm hoping to make now.
