The interview was pretty weird. I met the team in Alpharetta and they were all kind of awkward. They had scheduled over two hours for me, but they barely asked any questions. They mostly wanted me to talk about myself for about an hour and a half. It's hard to do that when you can only talk about job-specific stuff. I never heard back after the interview.

The Engineering Manager from Tensar International reached out to me online about this position. I checked out their website and the job description, which I really liked. I then sent my application. The manager got back to me and set up a phone call interview for two weeks later, as I was expecting. The call lasted about 30 minutes. After that, the manager invited me to come in and meet the team. I'll add more details after the rest of the process.

Behavioral Technical

I talked to the company after a career fair at my school. It seemed like a good chance, but it's a manufacturing company and I'm into geotechnical design. I was interviewed by 3 people, and one of them was a recent grad. I couldn't really ask him about his job since his boss was there. I found out the starting salary is $52k, which is pretty average, and it didn't seem like there was much room for growth.

The interview process was good and felt easy to get through, with a good package offered. They really focused on technical skills, and the overall process went well. I encountered challenging coding problems, a system design round, and some behavioral questions.
