The job role felt like it was trying to combine like 5 different jobs into one, but they expected you to have years of full experience in everything, yet they were only offering entry-level pay. The questions were all over the place, covering coding languages, video editing skills, and really specific stuff about my current team.

My interview experience was pretty unusual. After being referred by an ex-coworker, I was really keen on the role at Tenna given my industry experience. The initial two interviews went smoothly, with positive feedback about my fit and how my background could help with competitor deals. Then, I was asked to create a 6-month territory plan, which involved a lot of research on sales and goals, resulting in a 7-page document. This was followed by an application requesting my start date, salary, and three references – forms that usually mean the job is yours. The final stage was an in-person meeting with the CEO, which included them flying me out and covering my hotel stay. I figured this level of investment meant they were serious about me. The car service provided was also a nice touch. The meeting with the CEO went well; he praised my experience and said the team liked me, asking if there was any reason I wouldn't want to work there, to which I expressed my enthusiasm. Despite all this, a week later, I was informed I didn't get the job due to 'follow up and aggressiveness with prospects,' which confused me as I had sent follow-up emails. I reached out for more details but haven't heard back. It's frustrating to be led on like that after such a significant investment in the interview process.

I felt really good about my qualifications and that I nailed the interview. However, I'm gonna be more careful about applying to jobs where they don't list the salary upfront. I guess that was the one thing I didn't answer perfectly.

The interview process was long but smooth. It started with a recruiter call, followed by a second call with a team member. Then I was asked to complete a Caliper assessment. Finally, I had two webcam interviews, which were supposed to be a group interview but one manager had to reschedule. The whole thing took over a month and I just got an email saying they couldn't offer me the position after careful consideration. I asked for feedback but didn't hear back. If you're going to have people invest a month in your interview process, at least have the courtesy to call them.
