I talked to the recruiter first, and they asked me about my background and what I've done in past and current jobs. Then, we went into more clinical questions about diagnosing patients. We also discussed what the facility expects, productivity targets, and support systems. I didn't get any info on benefits or salary.

Had a 30 minute phone call with the SLP regional manager where we talked about my experience and clinical skills. The questions were mainly about clinical knowledge, with some hypothetical situations. Then, I had a 1-hour in-person interview at the facility with the DOR to discuss facility specifics. This was more like an HR interview, since the DOR isn't an SLP. They asked about strengths/weaknesses, what makes you an asset to the team, and how you handle conflicts.

I saw the opening on craigslist and sent my resume via email. The recruiter called and scheduled a phone interview, which was all done over the phone since I was out of state. I spoke with an area manager twice, and then she set up a call with a regional manager. The regional manager was a bit unreliable, missing our scheduled phone interview three times before we finally connected. Both managers were quite abrupt and direct on the phone, bordering on impolite. Despite that, I got the job offer about two weeks later.

I got the impression that it's hard for this company to hire permanent staff, and they usually make good offers.
