First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ten-X.
Sales Executive
They have a very in depth interview process. You are given a sales deck to personalize on your own. There was a phone screening first, followed by three rounds of interviews. The final round involves presenting the sales deck. Make sure you learn all about what Ten-X has to offer.

Applied online and then it took a week to get a confirmed phone screen, but it got cancelled and pushed back another week because HR scheduled it wrong. Then, it took an additional MONTH to get brought in for an office interview. The whole process felt really unorganized. I should have seen that as a red flag, but I was still excited about the job. During the office interview, the interviewer was really rude, criticized my resume format, and was totally disrespectful. Even so, I thanked them for their time, but I never heard back and still haven't heard anything. I don't think this company has a good culture or product and they'll probably struggle in the future. I checked LinkedIn for the interviewers and HR person I spoke with, and another person I met, and none of the four still work there. They all stayed for about 6-8 months on average before leaving. That's a problem, so I'd avoid this company if you have other options.
- Tell me why you are interested in Ten-X?
Product Manager
The company has a strict RTO policy, requiring employees to be local to their sub-company, with no exceptions for new hires, although I heard they made an exception for a veteran. This felt unfair. The first call was a lot of information about them, not much about me, and felt insincere. They also seemed unaware of California's pay transparency laws. The second call was strange; their attitude became negative very quickly, as if they had judged me within the first few minutes. CoStar's strategy of acquiring many real estate companies without clear integration seems odd.
- Can you tell me about a project you are proud of from your previous experience?
Market Research Analyst
I had an initial email and call with the hiring manager. Then, I interviewed with the lead manager I'd be reporting to. After that, I had an in-person interview where I met the team. I received an offer, but nine days later, the company restructured, and I was informed by Talent Acquisition that my position was eliminated and the offer rescinded. It was unfortunate because I really liked the company culture, product, and team.
