It was a 4-step process involving HR and the commercial team. The last interview was the most important. It's easy if you have previous business development experience. They didn't ask about your background or interests, just what you can bring to the company.

I applied for the role and the point of contact accepted my application. I tried to follow up multiple times but never got any updates and was eventually ghosted. This has been a recurring issue with many Chinese companies.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a 3-stage interview process. First, an HR screening call where they asked basic questions about my experience and industry knowledge. Then, I met the Head of the department. They asked some scenario-based questions about client development, market relationships, and other typical interview questions. Lastly, and a bit unusual, I had another meeting with an HR director to assess cultural fit and mindset. Overall, it was pretty straightforward. The good thing was no case study, which saves time. I heard there's an English conversation round for non-natives.
