Sales Associate
I interviewed for a New Home Sales Associate role at a retail location, which was great because it was so close to home. I was happy to get an offer, but then I saw the details of the job they offered. They wanted me to transfer my Realtor license and offered only $12/hr for unspecified hours, and they couldn't even give me a start date. Luckily, I checked other reviews on Glassdoor and realized I should not transfer my license to them.
- Are you willing to transfer your license to work for us?
New Home Host
In March 2014, I met with Michele Beckman at a Starbucks in Valencia for an interview. It was a bit surprising to have the interview at a coffee shop, as I expected a company office. Michele was friendly and professional. She explained that the maximum travel distance to a job site would be 40 miles. I confirmed that I was comfortable with that driving distance and that I could handle last-minute fill-in assignments. Michele conducted a very thorough interview.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work as a temp?
New Home Sales
It was a face-to-face, one-on-one interview, which is a plus! The hiring manager will know you better and gives you more helpful information before hiring! Very experienced hiring manager with great knowledge in the industry. Having broad connections in the new home industry, very helpful & get your future jobs ASAP! Nice culture and happy working environment. The hiring manager is super helpful - professional, and answering all your questions in the new home industry. And also gives you many notes and requirements before the training and orientation. Frankly speaking, TempsPlus is super helpful for my assignments during these weeks! Very fast services with excellent working orders!
- What motivated you to pursue a career in the new home industry?
Model Home Host
The interview was super easy. I talked to the regional sales rep. She asked about my resume, then explained the job, including the good and bad parts. She was really upfront and honest about everything, which helped me know what to expect. It was a very chill interview. If you're not weird and can do the job, you'll get it.
- Are you currently holding an active real estate license?
