First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TemPositions.
Substitute Teacher
I submitted my resume online via indeed.com. About a week later, I got an email asking me to complete a more detailed application on their website. Within two weeks of that, they contacted me to set up an interview. For the interview, I was told to bring proof of references (only professional ones with professional emails, not free accounts like Gmail or Yahoo), my degree, banking info, a voided check, my ID, resume, and proof of fingerprinting. They said if I didn't bring everything, it would delay the hiring process and I'd have to follow up with them. The interview itself was pretty straightforward; they reviewed my documents, made copies, and I entered my references and banking details for direct deposit.
- My teaching history was reviewed and I was asked about my classroom management style.
Marketing Coordinator
The interview questions were pretty standard. The front desk staff and the people who interviewed me were really nice and treated me with respect. They gave me a tour of the office and explained what each department does. I then had a second interview with the CEO, but they came across as dismissive and seemed to think I wasn't qualified enough.
- Can you handle various responsibilities like design, writing, and photography?
Vendor Specialist
I had a chat with 3 people at Tempositions. They were all super nice and friendly, and totally got that I was fresh out of college. They even helped me tune up my resume and get ready for the interview with the company. Plus, they keep in touch to see how things are going with the job.
- What are your best qualities for this position?
Recruiter
It was an easy and smooth process. They talked about all experiences listed on my resume. First, there was a phone call, then they asked me to come in for an interview, and then they called my references. The whole thing took about 2 weeks.
- Can you tell me about your experience at your previous job?
