First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Temporary Accommodations.
Hotel Coordinator
I had an interview with two male managers and it went well. They asked the usual questions like "tell me a little about yourself" and "what do you want in pay?". It helps to be prepared. I answered most questions because I knew about the company and what they offered, which helps any interview go smoothly.
- Can you describe a difficult situation you faced in your previous job and explain how you handled it?
Hotel Representative
It was a phone interview that led to an in-person interview. Typical interview questions were asked about me, my experience, and my interests. It was very straightforward and they gave me an offer right during the phone interview. The follow-up in-person interview was more of a get-to-know-me type of interview. The interview was great and easy, but the manager who interviewed me is unfortunately no longer with the company.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Hotel Coordinator
It's a two-step process. First, you'll meet with a manager for a laid-back chat about yourself. If you advance, you'll then meet with the shift supervisor. If they like you, you'll get an offer, but be ready to start training right away.
- Could you share a bit about yourself?
Housing Specialist
It was an easy-going, laid-back interview with no set questions, which was nice. They wanted to know about my future career goals and expectations. It felt like a welcoming place to grow, and I'd recommend it.
