I reached out to an HR person about the job opening. Then they emailed and called me to set up a phone interview. After that, they called me back and invited me to an interview at their HQ. I then interviewed with team members and someone from HR. The people seemed nice but I wasn't impressed with the caliber of employees or work.

Behavioral

I was randomly contacted about this job from Monster by the director and an HR person. After a lot of phone tag, we set up an interview. The interview was set to be with the director and one of his managers at a restaurant nearby. They were both nice and seemed to have good people skills, both on the phone and in person. They seemed to get what I do and asked a lot of behavioral questions about my work techniques. I asked about chances for promotion and climbing the ladder. When they told me in detail that there wasn't much upward mobility, I wasn't interested anymore. The company seemed like it could be a decent place to work, and the guys I met seemed smart.

I started with a chat with the HR manager. She then had me take a skills test that was pretty detailed about maintenance stuff. After that, I left. I got called back later for an interview with the plant manager. He showed me around the plant and introduced me to some maintenance folks. We then talked about pay, benefits, and my start date.

I had two interviews. The first one was with the team lead, and the second one was with both the team lead and someone else. They asked technical questions in the first interview, and the second interview was more focused on the company.
