The interview was remote and the interviewer got straight to the point, asking really specific questions about my skills and past work. They were open about everything I asked. It went pretty well, but I decided not to move forward because the interviewer mentioned they'd be leaving the team, and I wasn't keen on continuing without knowing who my future manager would be.

Behavioral Case Presentation

This interview process was long, exhausting, and demotivating. It's frustrating because this isn't the first time this has happened at this company, and they seem unsure about hiring. It feels like they use case studies to get new ideas, then don't hire anyone and implement those ideas themselves. Ghosting seems to be their way of operating; they'll express interest, say they'll follow up, then disappear. Even when you follow up, they'll ask you to wait, and then ghost you. It's worse than being ghosted by a partner. The steps were: HR screening, then the hiring manager, followed by a case presentation, then a senior director interview, and finally HR.

The interview experience was very dry. There was no information given about the position or the company. It didn't even start with a greeting. Even though it was the first phone screening, I feel like they should communicate better with candidates. There was no emotional response. It felt like the recruiter was just checking items off a list like a computer.
