First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TELUS.
Financial Analyst
The interview was mostly behavioural. It was pretty easy except times they wanted me to wax poetic about myself. The director, who did not work in finance, was pretty condescending. I never received a rejection or heard anything from them ever again.
- What personal values do you hold?
- How do you maintain motivation when completing work during busy periods?
- What are your coping mechanisms for stress?
Financial Analyst
The interview process was great. I felt really comfortable because the team was super friendly. They asked questions that made me think and allowed me to show off what I know. It was more like chatting, and they really wanted to see how I could fit in. Everything went really smoothly and was organized well.
- What makes you want to work at Telus?
- Can you tell me about any recent news you've heard regarding Telus?
Finance Analyst
Talked to HR first on the phone. Then met with the Controller and a senior Analyst. They asked a lot about my past work and how I've dealt with different scenarios.
