Behavioral Technical Case

Applied online and heard back from a recruiter about a month later. Had a brief phone screen with them about my background and the role. There were two more rounds: a technical skills deep dive with a product lead where I'd present a product I led and discuss a product scenario, followed by a case study where I'd act as a product lead responding to a client. I didn't make it past round 2, but the recruiter gave me good feedback on the skills interview. If you've been an IT product owner or IT business analyst, this should be manageable.

Technical Behavioral

The hiring process is well-structured with clear stages, an efficient scheduling tool, and good communication between candidate and recruiter. The process shows organization and respect for the candidate's time, with feedback provided at every phase. For product roles, the technical approach is rigorous and requires in-depth preparation, which is good, but it could be more detailed in the job description to ensure expectations are aligned from the start.

Behavioral Other

It was a pretty straightforward and down-to-earth interview process. The HR rep was mainly focused on understanding why I thought I'd be a good fit for the company and asked some basic questions. However, there was a really long wait to get through the interview stages. In the end, they decided not to fill the role, probably because of the Covid situation at the time. They didn't even send a feedback email or let me know the role was no longer available. I had to follow up a lot to finally get an answer.
