First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Televisa.
Redatora/roteirista/autora
- What is your skill?
- Speaking Spanish, Mexican Spanish, English, Italian, German, French, Dutch, Turkish, and Dutch, and a music course
Editor
the interview was relaxed, informative, and the interviewers were very friendly. They showed flexibility, although it's clear they have a high demand for their work, always staying busy. This shows it's a high-demand job requiring high stress control, and they are looking for someone who can work under stress while being responsible and communicative.
- Why are you interested in working for the company?
- What skills or courses do you have?
Legal Counsel
The company has a great presentation, with strong company values. They offer good benefits and have top-notch facilities. The staff is qualified and diligent, and the location is prime. HR is demanding during interviews, as they only recruit the most qualified personnel.
- What was the last book you read?
- Tell me about a time you overcame a challenge.
Software Engineer
I had a technical test, two technical interviews, and a call with the CTO. They offered me a job at Blim and swore I was in, but said their hiring process was slow. They had me take a course, took blood samples, and after two months of waiting, a week before my start date, they asked me to wait another 15 days due to internal issues. A week later, they told me the position was frozen. I was unemployed because I had just finished a personal project, and waiting so long really hurt my finances and my family's. I found it to be the least ethical thing they could have done.
