First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Televerde.
Business Development Representative
They had an interview with varied questions in English and Spanish. They asked about my interest in the company, what I do, and how I could contribute. It was very pleasant. They had me read texts in English and continued with questions in the same language to assess my level. If I spoke a second language, they also asked questions in that language.
- Routine questions and in English
Product Development/Management Leader
It started with a talent acquisition company that was pretty disorganized, even switching recruiters mid-process. I got past the initial recruiter call, then had to do this really long written questionnaire. I was supposed to chat with their Chief People Officer, but she ghosted me. The recruiter apologized, and we rescheduled. The call with the Global Chief People Officer went great, and they said they wanted me to come in for an in-person to meet the team. I sent my availability, followed up with the talent company, and then... nothing. Five months later, I'm still waiting for that in-person interview to be scheduled, and nobody even bothered to tell me it wasn't happening. Super unprofessional.

Account Manager
I had a recruiter call, then a phone screen with basic questions. After that, there were three 1-hour in-person interviews. The first two interviewers hadn't reviewed my resume and one of them didn't explain her team or its relation to the job. They seemed distracted and unprofessional. The second interview was with someone doing the job, and she clarified things. The last scheduled person cancelled due to an emergency, but didn't inform me in person. I decided it wasn't a good fit and declined further steps.
- How will you ensure you are successful in this role?
Marketing Representative
The interview process was grueling and really out of line with how other companies handle interviews. They really need to take into account that things are different for women going into corporate roles; they are not suspects and should be treated the same as if Televerde was just another company hiring and they have the advantage of knowing that the applicant can bring it.
- Were you asked a lot of personal questions that are really none of an employer's business?
