Telenor General Intern Interview Questions
& Process

The entire interview was conducted online using their company's software, which I had to download about 10 minutes before it started. Everything went pretty smoothly, though there were a few hiccups with my wifi that made it tough to catch some of the questions.

I saw the Intern job online and applied through the Telenor Pakistan website's Career Portal. The first step was an online IQ test with 30 General Knowledge and Math questions, due in 30 minutes. It was easy, I finished in 25 minutes. After passing that, I had a 1-on-1 with HR. They asked general questions like 'Tell us about yourself,' 'Why your major?', 'Strengths/weaknesses?', 'Why Telenor?', 'Biggest achievement?', 'Extracurriculars?', and 'Last fight?'. It went well. A few weeks later, they asked for scanned personal documents (mostly school papers). Then, I had another interview, this time purely technical, focusing on my Final Year Project's theory and operation. That also went great. I didn't hear back for a while and thought I was rejected, but then I got an email with my placement, salary, and joining details. A few tips: the process is transparent, no recommendations needed. A good CV, grades, and extracurriculars help. Competition is fierce (20k+ applicants for 60 spots in 2014). Don't give up, be confident, and trust your skills.

I interviewed for a summer internship. The panel had three people: one from HR and two from the department I was applying to.
