First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Telefund.
Fundraiser
From the initial contact, the response time was very quick, leading to a conversation with the recruiter. The team was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, which included a fun interview and training.
- What strategies do you employ for managing high-volume outbound calling?
Fundraising Specialist
The interview process was comfortable and quick! The interviewer was very nice and knowledgeable. It was easier than most phone interviews I've experienced. The interviewer was polite and gave great suggestions for the script. I received excellent feedback. Highly recommended.
- Would you read the script and get feedback from the interviewer?
Account Executive
I went through 4 interviews and a time-consuming assignment, only to be ghosted with no explanation. I tried reaching out to two contacts multiple times over weeks with no response. It's really unprofessional, especially from a company that talks about caring for people. They could have at least sent a quick message. They promised transparency since I was laid off before Christmas and had just moved to be with my sick friend, but that didn't happen. I wouldn't want to work for people who lack basic decency to communicate after I invested so much time.
- What topics deeply matter to you?
Supervisor
First there's a phone call, then you come into the office. If that part goes alright, they'll have you come in for a paid trial and some training at the office. The phone interview is mostly just political questions. The office interview is pretty chill. You'll get general questions and do a role-playing thing.
- Could you explain your motivation for seeking employment with our organization?
- What qualities or experiences do you possess that make you an effective fundraiser?
- Describe your approach to handling an interaction with a donor who exhibits rudeness or disrespect.
