First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Telarus.
Customer Support Specialist
The interview process was good, it gave me a good look into Telarus's culture and a peek at the people I'd be working with. It's a bit of a long process, but it was worth it.
- How would you respond to a customer who is upset or angry?
Software Developer
After passing an initial programming test, I had a Zoom call with the whole team: the SVP of Technology, Lead Architect, Business Analyst, QA, Front End developers, and a backend SQL developer. They introduced themselves and talked about their roles and tenure. I was then asked about my software development experience, past projects, designs, and how I handled challenges. Following this, there was a culture interview focused on my personality and cultural fit.
- Could you tell me about a favorite project you've worked on and explain your reasons?
- If a clone of yourself were working with you, what would be the best and worst aspects of that collaboration?
- Regarding the favorite book you listed on your resume, what was your reasoning for selecting it?
Account Manager
After you submit your application, if you're selected, you'll get a link to do a one-way video interview on the JOBMA platform. It's a really impersonal process with no actual person from Telarus involved. This interview style definitely saves them money, but it's really not ideal for someone looking for a job.
- What causes customers to hesitate buying and how do you overcome that hesitation?
- Describe a time you took initiative to fix a problem or situation. What prompted you to act?
- How do you quickly build rapport with clients? Do you have any specific methods for engaging a customer who isn't very responsive?
Employee Relations Specialist
We did a couple of group interviews, and then there were some personal interview questions about personality-specific characteristics. Everyone was very friendly. It sounded like an amazing place to work with great company culture.
- What shows are you currently watching?
