First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Teguar.
Account Manager
It was quite an extensive and in-depth process with several stages. There were multiple conversations and even a written IQ test. After everything was done, they said they couldn't make an offer until they spoke with my referrals, which added even more time to the whole thing.
- Can you describe your experience with cold calling and how you use it to schedule meetings?
Accountant
Had an in-person interview at their office in Charlotte, which was about 3 hours long. It involved generic questions from multiple people, but they didn't seem related to the job. There was also a quick, timed numbers test to check attention to detail.
- Tell me about a time you had to collaborate with another department.
Operations Assistant
I was first contacted by ADP payroll, who was handling recruitment for the position. We scheduled a 15-minute phone interview at the agreed time. The interviewer asked basic questions like why I want to leave my current job and why I left my previous one. About a week and a half later, ADP contacted me again to schedule an in-person interview. A week after that, I met the Operations Manager for a 90-minute interview that felt uncomfortable. It was all behavioral questions, like 'describe a time when...', 'describe a situation when...', and 'describe a decision...'. I only got to ask one question. Then, I was given a paper with typed and handwritten numbers and had 4 minutes to say if they were the same or different. After I finished, I was escorted out. The interview was very structured and one-sided, with no chance to be myself. It was all behavioral questions that people 'bs' about. The manager didn't have much personality, making it difficult and awkward. I never got an email saying I wasn't chosen, which is rude. I followed up with a thank you, but he didn't reciprocate. I'm not upset about not getting the offer; if the interview was that awkward, I can't imagine working there.
- They were all behavioral questions. There was also a timed test at the end.
Supply Chain Assistant
I went through 2 interview rounds for this role, one was online and the other was in person. The in-person visit was a 3-hour event at their office where I had to complete an assessment and a personality test, and then I met with several people. Everyone was really nice, supportive, and encouraging. I ended up not taking the job because of the salary offered and how long my commute would be.
- Since we are in the office every day, would you be willing to commute?
