It was a straightforward interview with questions about my experience, mainly focusing on sales processes and what I was looking for in a role. They seemed to have limited knowledge of industries outside of TV.

It was a straightforward two-part process. First, I had a phone call with a recruiter. Then, I had an in-person interview with the sales manager. They offered me the job right after the in-person interview.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a series of Zoom interviews. First, they explained what the PIR role is about and what my expectations would be. Then, they showed all the stations hiring PIRs and I had to rank my top 5. I answered questions about my experience and how I'd handle certain scenarios. After that, there was a quiet period of a few weeks where I had to complete a writing and show stacking exam. If I was a good fit, they'd schedule another Zoom call to confirm my top station choices and then let me know where I matched.
