First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ted Moudis Associates.
Environmental Graphic Designer
The HR manager reached out to me on another job platform to set up the interview. When I arrived, the receptionist was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable while I waited. The interviewer, a very senior person, was nice and answered my questions. The interview itself was about 20 minutes. One downside was that I didn't bring my laptop to show my portfolio. I had already submitted my online portfolio, and when I asked about preparation beforehand, there was no mention of bringing a physical portfolio or laptop. So, I was surprised when he asked to see my work. I figured he might have already reviewed my resume and portfolio and just wanted to see them in person. I should have brought my laptop anyway, even without prior instruction, but usually, interviewers review my work and experience beforehand and tell me what to prepare.
- Can you discuss branding strategy and how you visualize it for branding?
Project Architect
The interview process was thorough and relaxed, not as tough as I anticipated. I was interviewed by Ted Moudis and his right-hand man Chris. They interviewed me in turns, and then extended an offer at the end.
- Could you describe your background and experience?
- What motivates your interest in joining our firm?
Staff Architect
First, they checked my credentials with 3 required professional references. An admin assistant handled this, and it was very standard. Then, the interview with the principal CV was 20 minutes late. He was unapologetic and arrogant when he finally showed up. I didn't feel welcomed.
- What would you bring to the company?
- Do you work well with others?
Project Architect
Be patient, the interview process takes a long time because of their busy schedule. Be concise and firm with your answers. After the first interview, you'll need to meet Ted in person. No one gets hired at TMA without Ted's approval.
- What is your salary expectation?
