Consultant
I went through two full on-site interview rounds, which included a meeting with the CEO. The team seemed nice and engaging overall, but they really stressed that they expect at least 50 hours a week. The CEO came across a bit arrogant, asking if I'd seen his message on the website and boasting about potential 'generational wealth' (funny, since they never mentioned salary). The recruiter asked for my pay expectations, and a few days later, I learned I didn't get an offer. Another recruiter contacted me a month later. It all felt pretty disorganized, like they want people to work a lot and not get paid much.

Analyst
The interview process was pretty straightforward and easy, although a bit redundant. It included a 30-minute phone screen, a 30-minute conversational technical phone interview, and then two onsite interviews. Everyone was really friendly, and the chats were easy-going. However, by the end, I'd spent over 4.5 hours interviewing one-on-one with more than 7 people and had to visit the office twice. My interview process went to the final round, which was with the CEO. Honestly, the CEO was quite rude, unprofessional, and not welcoming at all, which was a stark contrast to the other people I interviewed with. He was very preachy about how working more hours equals better results, and I guess I couldn't hide my disagreement with his old-fashioned views. On top of that, HR took over 4 weeks to respond after my final interview, and I had to be the one to follow up for my offer decision. I wouldn't recommend this interview process unless you can honestly say 'yes, I will work 100-hour weeks if it means getting a job done,' otherwise, you'll likely be wasting your time.
- Regarding tight deadlines, are you prepared to dedicate the necessary hours to ensure completion?
- Could you describe your background in technical product development and the software development lifecycle?
Data Scientist
The interview process was fine. The first interview was with HR and that interview went really well. The company seemed great. I was scheduled for a second interview with the head of Data Science. It seemed as though the head Data Scientist person was on a time crunch because I wasn't able to ask more about the company. This interview was during "lunch break" for both of us. The time crunch on a lunch break rubbed me the wrong way and gave off the impression that there weren't a lot of breaks. They also didn't give a clear distinction between each data department and their specific tasks. Overall, I didn't think this job was a great fit for me because I felt as if the people working there seemed overworked.

Senior Associate
I had one technical call, and then 4 rounds of interviews on-site. Most of the on-site interviews were behavioral, though they did throw in some technical questions. Two of those were with HR and the CEO. The CEO can seem a bit intimidating, but he's really just checking if you fit the company culture. My HR recruiter was super helpful and upfront about everything, giving me a good idea of how the interviews would go. HR was also really quick to respond, which was great! I thought their salary offer was pretty fair too.
