First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Technology Navigators.
Software Architect
Technology Navigators worked with me and guided me through interviews with their client. They gave me a personalized experience, which is rare in IT. They called me to tell me I was getting an offer. Then weeks went by. The reasons for the delay kept changing. The president of the company called me to reassure me. The company couldn't even keep its own story straight. The offer fell through for reasons I don't know. This company doesn't seem honest. What seemed like a personal experience turned into lies and deceit. I'm not upset about not getting the job as much as the dishonesty I experienced from this company. As a service-disabled veteran, I expect better.
- Can you elaborate on the standard IT questions relevant to this IT role?
Technical Recruiter
The interview process was straightforward and pleasant. It began with a phone interview, followed by an in-person meeting. The in-person interview felt relaxed and conversational, not formal at all. I decided not to proceed further because my career aspirations are in development, and this role wasn't the right fit. If it weren't for that, I would have continued. It appears to be a great company with dedicated, honest, and hardworking employees who are passionate about their work.
- Are you prepared to commit the necessary time to excel as a recruiter?
Market Manager
The interview process was really thorough and enjoyable. I got to meet everyone on the team across different departments, which was great since it wasn't a huge company. Everyone was warm, engaging, and completely open about their experiences working here, sharing both the good and the bad (though there wasn't much bad!). By the end, I really felt like they wanted me to join their team, and honestly, it's been the best decision of my 25-year career so far.
- Can you tell me about your biggest career failure?
IT Applications Security Analyst
I was contacted by a recruiter named Tom from Technology Navigators in late March 2023 for an IT Applications Security Analyst position. Tom was great and kept me updated even with delays. After over a month, we finally scheduled the first interview with the hiring manager, which went well. However, after that, scheduling the second interview became a nightmare. Two weeks later, Tom said they were ready, and we set a date. I even turned down another interview for this one. I was told Steven M. would contact me to confirm and answer questions. But Steven M. never contacted me before or on the interview day. Tom couldn't get updates either. I never got a meeting invite or call from Steven M. Then, on Monday morning, Steven M. called me, sounding like a pushy salesman, begging to reschedule after ghosting me. He knew nothing about the job's day-to-day, just repeated the job description. He wasn't even sorry about messing up the interview scheduling. He was super pushy and wanted me off the phone fast. He didn't care about my time or schedule. I told him exactly what I thought of him before hanging up. Also, he called super early Pacific time without checking, which ticked me off even more.
- Regarding Steven M., why is he still employed?
