Administrative
it was very laid back. the person i interviewed with and their manager seemed to be friends so it felt very casual. did a phone interview with the supervisor, then an in person with the supervisor then they took me to talk to the manager.
- Can you tell me why you left your last position?
- What is your availability to start?
- What are your salary expectations?
Solutions Architect
I applied for the job, then had a phone interview and an in-person interview. A friend who works at TIG told me about the opening. I did some research with people in tech and found out TIG is leading some new technology, which I want to be part of. The interview was intense. They checked my credentials, and I heard they also had a long interview with one of my previous employers.
- Are you technically proficient?
- Do you possess strong written and verbal communication abilities?
Practice Director
A recruiter reached out to me about a role at TIG. Since I knew some people in the industry there, I scheduled an in-person meeting with one of their Practice Directors and some Engineers. That first interview was pretty introductory and casual. Then, I met with a different group of people at TIG for a more direct interview.
- Can you explain your interest in TIG?
- What value do you believe you can bring to TIG?
- What is your understanding of TIG?
Inside Sales Representative
A friend introduced me to the hiring manager. They reviewed my resume and then I went in for an interview. The manager told me not to negotiate salary, otherwise they wouldn't hire me. They liked my resume and personality. They mentioned the job is boring, and we talked about whether I'd enjoy it, but I figured I could at least try and make it work.
- What do you do when you're bored at work?
- Have you ever had any project manager experience?
