First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Technology Credit Union.
Loan Processor
I got hired through a temp agency and later became a full-time employee. Initially, I interviewed with the AVP of Consumer Lending and the Lead. Then, when they offered me the FTE position, I had to interview with the VP of Consumer Lending.
- Do you prefer a collaborative team environment or independent work?
Program Manager
Had a few chats with HR first, then met with the SVP of the department. After that, I had several meetings with senior managers and team members. They actually called me back a couple of times, and thankfully, it was always pretty quick. Each chat felt like a good way to learn more about the people and the company as I got a better grasp of things.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in Tech CU?
Associate
I interviewed with 3 people at their HQ. The interviewers were professional and nice. They asked questions about my resume and behavioral questions. Make sure you can expand on all your resume bullet points. Also, don't try to BS your way through answers because one of the interviewers will figure it out quickly. They are looking for sharp leaders who are professional team players and want to advance within the company. Banking experience is a plus, but they are open to candidates without it if you can show why you'd be valuable to the team.
- Can you explain your motivation for seeking this position?
- What do you consider your most significant life accomplishment?
- Describe the physical transformations you would implement in the branch within the first 1, 3, and 6 months if you were leading it.
Vice President
We had a few interviews. It started with a phone call with HR. Then, I met with the manager of the division and my future team. Finally, I had one-on-one chats with each person on the executive team.
- How will you manage your commute?
