First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Technatomy.
Salesforce QA Engineer
I had an interview scheduled within a week. It was one round, lasting an hour. An architect and director were on the panel. The next day, they told me I was selected. Within a couple of days, I got an offer letter, but without a joining date. It's been a year, and they still haven't given me one.
- Can you tell me about your background and the tools you have used and where you used them?
Technical Writer
The initial contacts were a bit messy. Scheduling the in-person interview took quite a while. It was supposed to be a group interview, but the people there weren't really anyone I'd end up working with. I was told there'd only be one interview, but the recruiter called the next day and said I needed another phone interview with someone out of state, scheduled for a few days later. Even though the first interviewers liked my background and skills after a 90-minute chat, the recruiter told me I didn't get the job after a quick 5-minute follow-up call. No reasons were given, and she wouldn't answer my questions about what went wrong in the second interview.
- Can you describe how you would handle various scenarios that might come up in this role?
- What do you know about certain computer applications relevant to this job?
Proposal Manager
initial interview great, very pleasant. Gave great overview of the company, their contracts, their goals and department structure. Second interview was horribe, interviewer who was the immediate supervisor came across very harsh in tone, After that second interview I declined consideration because anyone in a leadership role that has a bad attitude during the interview process certainly isn't someone to work for.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Software Automation Engineer
It was a phone interview at the time, with basic questions, and it was friendly. I got an offer an hour later. They asked me technical questions related to the job, why I left my previous job, and about my experience with programming languages.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult coworker.
- What programming languages have you used?
- What prompted your departure from your last role?
