First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TechData Service Company.
Product Operations
I applied online and the HR called me to set up an interview time. I met with two people: the HR rep and the head of product admin. They asked me some questions, and about 1.5 weeks later, they called me with an offer.
- How can your skills add value to our company?
AI Developer
First, an HR person conducted an interview focusing on basic, commonly asked questions. Following that, the department head interviewed me, asking technical questions that were deeper than the HR questions. Both interviewers were quite nice and not harsh.
- Can you brainstorm a new product idea?
Statistical Programmer
I sent in my application via LinkedIn. Then, I went through two rounds of interviews. These were with the heads of both the statistical programming and biostatistics departments. Each chat was about 30 minutes long. The whole thing wrapped up in about two weeks.
- What makes you want to work for this company?
- Can you discuss your background in statistics?
- Describe your experience with longitudinal data.
Intern
They contacted me for a video interview, which was the first step. The questions were pre-recorded. I was given either 20 or 40 seconds to think about each question before the system made me record my response.
- Looking back at all the jobs I've had in the last 5 years, can you tell me the reason why I left each one?
