Security Technician
It was a pretty laid-back process with two interviews before they made an offer. The people interviewing me were nice and easy to talk to. They were cool about working around my schedule and really liked that I was upfront about what I was good at and what I wasn't.
- Technical questions about security systems were asked.
Field Service Technician
We met at a restaurant for an initial chat. I talked about my background and experience. Then, they asked me some questions about what I know and can do. They also asked about my military history, any criminal record, and if I could pass a drug test. After that, they told me about the company and what they aim to do.
- What do you know about basic AC/DC hand tools, relays, logic, and security system rhetoric?
Oracle Database Administrator
First I chatted with the recruiter, which was a good sign. Then I met the two managers I'd be reporting to. They showed me diagrams of what needed to be set up for Data Guard for the environments that required it. After that, I worked on the environments that needed Data Guard for HA and DR.
