Marketing Manager
The recruiters were super upfront about the whole process and laid out exactly how many steps were involved, what to expect in each upcoming interview, and who I'd be meeting with. I think it was about four rounds, not counting the take-home assignment.
- What would be something that disappointed you that you cannot complete in the first three months of working here?
Technical Support Engineer
It was a straightforward interview where they asked questions about the role. They threw in some scenario-based questions, and also asked about how I perform under pressure. Some of it seemed like they were trying to get to know me to see how I'd fit in with the team.
- Can you share an example of a difficult customer interaction you've had, detailing your approach and the resolution?
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a challenging customer, how you managed the situation, and what the outcome was.
- How do you manage your performance and stress when working under pressure?
Human Resources Business Partner
My intro to Tebra was awesome. The recruiter was super engaging and really sold the company well. The hiring manager and interview panel were ready and knew a lot about the job and their teams. But, after they picked who they wanted, things went downhill. It's just one job and one person, I get it, but the recruiter's job is to handle the candidate experience the whole way through. Basic recruiting: - Set expectations for interviewers, give yourself some breathing room between the debrief and when you tell the candidate what's up. Debrief and disposition dates usually aren't the same day. When you set realistic expectations, you control the outcome instead of the process and lack of communication making the decision obvious. - Don't just send a generic, canned email that anyone who applied would get. If you can't call them, make the email personal to where they are in the process, thank them for their time, say the team enjoyed meeting them, etc. - How you interact leaves a lasting impression of the company. When it's done right, it's just about one role and one person.
- Can you tell us about your background and experience?
- Could you share an example of a time you successfully navigated a challenging stakeholder relationship?
- How do you prioritize and manage multiple demands effectively?
Program Manager
I had a good initial call with the recruiter, who was upfront and clear. The real issues started with the hiring manager. The interview was an hour long and involved a surprise case study using Google Slides. The hiring manager shared her screen and asked questions about prioritizing initiatives and improving slide readability. During my explanation, she accidentally pulled up another candidate's resume, obscuring the presentation. She didn't realize until I pointed out I couldn't see the slides. I continued, but felt she wasn't engaged. The recruiter followed up, and I mentioned the incident. I didn't hear back after that.
- Based on company needs, how would you prioritize these initiatives?
- How would you make these slides more readable by adjusting their layout?
