The interview started with general questions like 'tell me about yourself' and then dove deeper into specifics from my resume. A significant portion involved the interviewer explaining the product and its functionality. It felt very relaxed, more like a conversation.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It started with a phone screen, then I had to do a behavioral and cognitive test before moving on. They suggested practicing for the cognitive test, which was 12 minutes but stressful and required extra prep time. After that, I talked to the hiring managers. Then, I was invited to do a job-related project presentation during a panel interview. It was an hour long, and they focused heavily on follow-up questions about the project, not my general experience. After a week of silence, I was informed they were putting the position on hold, so no offer or further feedback was given.

  • Can you do strategy AND the work?

Terrible company, don’t apply here. They put me through 6 rounds over the course of two months and just disappeared at the end. No responding to calls or emails, nothing. Then a month later a rejection email. Thanks for the waste of time! Rounds: 1. 30 minute recruiter call 2. 30 minute hiring manager 3. Take home (3 hours) 4. 1 hour live coding interview 5. 45 minute system design/arch 6. 45 minute grilling by two technical VPs. One guy was a jerk, the other a weirdo After all of that, they just disappeared, and actively ignored emails and calls. Complete ghost for a month. Extremely unprofessional. Dodged a major bullet.

Behavioral Technical

A recruiter reached out about the role and I had a phone interview with her. She said that the hiring manager was very interested and would like me to come onsite for an interview. The onsite interview seemed to go well and I was given a tour of the office. During the interview it became obvious that this should have been a phone screen by the hiring manager. It was a short conversation and not many questions were asked, and honestly seemed like a waste of time having driven from Raleigh to Durham. I did not hear back for a couple of weeks and then was rejected with no feedback. I asked the recruiter and she said she was not told why I was not a suitable candidate.
