First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TeamLogic IT.
Engineer
I went through 5 rounds of interviews, one was a duplicate because the team doesn't communicate. They called me out of the blue for the second interview and gave me no time to prepare. This place is understaffed and disorganized. I was then invited for an on-site interview and the CEO liked me enough to send me straight to an interview with the CIO. The last interview was a technical assessment. Their CIO told me I was between a Level 2 and Level 3, and the staff couldn't even get the test environment ready. The next day the CEO gave me a lowball offer for an entry-level helpdesk role, $40k less than I asked for. We scheduled a call to discuss it, but the CEO missed it and then rescinded the offer days later. This is a very unprofessional and understaffed company. I don't see any growth opportunities here.
- For the technical assessment, we were provided with a laptop, a server (which wasn't configured correctly), a sonicwall, an old netgear switch, and an Access Point.
Systems Engineer
First, I had to do this assessment where I wrote down answers about my IT background. Then, I had a phone call with a recruiter. After that, I had a technical interview with a senior IT person where they asked me about Windows systems, basic networking, cybersecurity, and just general IT stuff.
- Can you explain the difference between HTTP and HTTPS and specify the ports they utilize?
Technician
So I interviewed for this Level 2 Tech job and honestly, it was pretty bad. The first interview, which lasted about 45 mins, was pretty standard, asking about my experience and technical stuff, and I thought I did well. Then came the second round with the Director and Head. They said I didn't need to prep, but it was super confusing and felt all over the place. It went for over an hour with technical questions but they didn't seem to know what they were looking for, the Director even seemed lost sometimes, which was frustrating. After asking when I could start, like next week, they just went silent. No follow-up, no feedback, nothing. It was a really unprofessional and disappointing experience after putting in the effort.
- They asked a lot of technical questions that were all over the place and didn't seem to have a basis.
Systems Engineer
This is for the Newtown PA location. The first interview was with the President and CEO, it was 30 minutes. Then I had an hour-long exam with about 30 questions covering Active Directory Roles, Customer Communications, networking, general troubleshooting, and customer communications. There were also a few basic CCNA networking questions. The third interview was an hour with their technical team leads. I found out the role is more customer support than project work, and they call it Remote Services Engineer. You'll need references from previous employers.
- Could you name the five FSMO roles?
