The hiring manager talked with me about my background, what I liked about this company specifically, and my career goals for the next couple of years. He let me know upfront that this job is pretty demanding and not for everyone. We finished right on time because he had another meeting scheduled immediately after.

Behavioral

The interview process was quite long and thorough. They wanted to know about my previous PTA experience and also my personal interests. They asked if I would be interested in becoming an SLS and went into detail about what that role involved. We also discussed the SL communities and the specific area I would be working in. They talked about the benefits, but it turns out none of them are actually covered by the company; employees have to pay for all of them. Also, there's no 401K matching.

Behavioral Technical

A recruiter from out of state set up a Zoom interview for me. He went over the job description and mentioned he would set up an interview with the local office. I received an email with a link for the meeting. I had some difficulty logging in, but since I started early, I was on time for the interview. The two women interviewing me appeared annoyed that I wasn't early and didn't seem to care about my technical difficulties. They asked me scripted, generic questions that didn't really assess my skills and qualifications. Given their initial reaction, I wasn't surprised I didn't get an offer. They had a stiff and corporate attitude, looking for someone who could perfectly fake answers to their questions.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Describe a problem you encountered and how you resolved it.
