First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Teachstone Training.
Customer Service Representative
Had an easy hr interview, then a panel interview, and a final interview with the manager. I was selected to move forward with an interview. They were nice. The only downside is that the training isn't actually training, you just shadow.
- Can you describe how you handle diversity?
Account Executive
Scheduling with the recruiter was tough because she was a poor and inconsistent communicator. The initial phone screen was messy and kept getting interrupted by her baby. She did move me to the first round with the Sales Manager. After a 30-minute interview, he said I'd advance to the next round, a panel with other AEs. Neither he nor the recruiter followed up to schedule it, even though I reached out. Very unprofessional, I feel like I dodged a bullet.
- Can you explain your understanding of DEI?
Client Services Manager
The interview process did not start out great. The recruiter emailed me several minutes after our scheduled initial conversation stating our call would need to be rescheduled. They were then late for the rescheduled call. I was moved on to two other steps after (a 1x1 with someone from the team and then a panel conversation with several people. Everyone I met with was friendly and informative. I did not get the position which I can understand, but I should not of had to email the recruiter 2 weeks after my last interview to learn I did not get the position. The treatment I received at the end of the process solidifies I would not want to work for this organization.
- Have you ever been a teacher?
Sales Manager
HR had some easy questions and then disappeared. Three weeks later, I had a call with the hiring manager. She was late and unapologetic. She had a bad attitude from the start, which was unprofessional given she could be her leader. Two weeks later, she asked a few more questions, again late and without apology. It seems like leadership is lacking accountability. Many good candidates declined offers due to these red flags. I did not receive an offer because I chose not to move forward.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience?
