Designer
The first interview was a phone call where we talked about the job, including if there were mentorship opportunities and if I was more interested in game content, encounters, systems, or experiences for Bethesda Studios. They also asked about my portfolio and past experiences related to the role. They said they'd be in touch about the next steps, but I never heard back even after I reached out.
- Tell me about your process and the details of some of your portfolio pieces.
- Are you more experienced with game content, encounters, systems, or experiences?
Sales Development Representative
It started with a video where I had to answer 3 questions. Then I had 2 in-person interviews. The first in-person was with 3 people at once. The second in-person was with 2 different people for the first half of the hour, and then 2 other different people for the second half. I got the offer on the spot during the 3rd interview and accepted. It was a lot of steps, but they really wanted to make sure I'd be a good culture fit.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in TargetCW?
- Describe a goal you set for yourself and explain the steps you took to achieve it.
- How do you handle situations involving rejection or criticism?
HR Coordinator
It started with a 15-20 minute phone call, basically a 'getting to know you' chat. After that, I was invited for my first onsite interview. The recruiter and the hiring manager were both there, and I felt it went pretty well. Then I got invited back for a second interview, which included some of the more experienced team members. They told me the second interview went even better than the first one because my answers weren't so robotic.
- Tell me about a difficult interaction you had with a coworker or manager and how you resolved it.
- What actions did you take to manage the situation?
- What specific steps did you implement to ease the tension or resolve the problem?
Account Manager
The interview process had 3 rounds: a phone call, and then two in-person interviews. The questions were identical in the second and third rounds, though they were with different interviewers. It was a very well-organized process, and everyone made an effort to ask questions and learn more about me. Honestly, it was one of the best interview experiences I've had. I do think the second and third interviews could have been combined, since the questions were the same.
- Can you share details about your experience?
- Can you share some information about your personality?
