Technical

They reached out via email first, then contacted me on Viber. The technical interview was pretty tough, with questions that felt a bit out of scope and more like a quiz. They sometimes cut me off or dismissed my points, and even asked questions I'd already answered, making it seem like they weren't fully engaged.

Presentation Behavioral

The interview process was pretty standard, starting with a few initial calls and then two presentations to the team. There seemed to be some miscommunication between managers and recruiters though, as neither seemed to know exactly what was next. I was told I didn't need to be a product expert, but the feedback during the presentations suggested they expected more product knowledge, even though I only had about a week to prepare. After the second presentation, I didn't hear back or get any feedback until I followed up multiple times, and then I just got a generic rejection email. They also asked for a lot of references, which I provided, but they never even contacted them. Based on my experience and what others have said, it seems like management doesn't always have clear expectations or agree on what they're looking for in candidates, which might be why the team has high turnover.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process started with a recruiter call. Then, there were two manager interviews, followed by a panel interview that included a demo. The recruiter was really great, keeping up with follow-ups and encouraging candidates. However, my negative feedback is about the panel interview. They presented a scenario where I had to do a discovery call with a client of three years to find pain points and push our solution. My issue is that this demo should showcase how I currently present, not how well I studied their product in 72 hours. I was told I wasn't selected because I didn't lead with more discovery, which is basic sales 101 when dealing with a client of three years – you shouldn't be starting with discovery. After reading other reviews and seeing they needed to hire six people fast, I realized this company doesn't really understand the sales process well. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with them.

Behavioral Technical

Got referred by a friend to tcp and they called me after a week when my friend followed up. After a short on-call interview, they set up an onsite interview. During the interview, they focused on my short tenure (1 year and 11 months) at my previous company, which seemed to matter more than my skills. I asked about feedback timing, and they said 2-3 days. However, after waiting over 15 days and receiving three emails to wait for feedback, I just got an automated email with no real feedback, which was unprofessional. The company itself seems good, but their hiring process is terrible.
