First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TCL.
Engineer
I was a new grad, so it was a bit challenging at first, but it really depends on the team and company. There were 6 interview rounds, covering technical, management, and HR aspects.
- What are your expectations for the team and the organization?
- How was your experience as a new graduate?
- Can you tell me about a project you worked on?
RD Engineer
I applied online and then had an on-site interview with the hiring manager. It was about 1-2 hours long, mostly technical questions related to my experience and what I've learned. The whole process felt pretty flexible and I got feedback within a week.
- Can you describe how you would evaluate the display performance of a prototype device?
Assistant Manager
This interview is short, about 10-15 minutes. They seem to make decisions quickly without understanding how things work at the candidate's current company. It's frustrating because they don't provide any feedback afterward.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- Could you explain your professional background?
