Had a bad interview experience – really unprofessional! Just finished an interview process that left me feeling disappointed. The interviewers didn't even introduce themselves, kept their cameras off, and just fired off technical questions really fast, making it feel super cold and impersonal. Some questions were hard to grasp because they were delivered so abruptly and lacked context or structure. When I tried to ask for clarification, I could feel them getting impatient, which just added to the stress and made it tough to connect. I feel like interviews should be a two-way street for information and mutual respect — this one didn't feel like that at all, and it didn't give me a clear idea of the job or the company vibe.

There was a selection test for all candidates. It was a pen-paper test that included: 1) 30 basic quant questions covering topics like time & work, profit loss, river-boat, basic arithmetic, sequence series, and puzzles. 2) Coding questions which weren't full coding problems but involved tasks like completing code, determining code output, or identifying errors. 3) Two essays were required: one on a topic like "Data Analytics is a new wine in old bottle" and another on system design, specifically to "Design a system that automatically detects cars crossing speed limit and assign a ticket against that car".

I had my L1 round panel JAVA Interview which had a logical question. As discussed with Mr. Animesh, I passed the first round. However, I couldn't attend the second round interview on Friday (20-05-2022) due to a medical emergency and requested to reschedule for this week. When I inquired about the tentative date for the second round today, Mr. Shivam Porwal stated that I was not shortlisted for the next round without providing a clear reason. Suggestion: Improve your interview process.
