First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Taylor Global.
Intern
So the process was pretty straightforward. I first filled out the application online. Then, they gave me a call for a phone screening to discuss my background and career goals. Following that, there was a Skype interview with an HR representative. The next step was an on-site interview. During the on-site, I met with three different people from Taylor, and at the end, I had to complete a writing test. The whole on-site part took about three hours.
- On the writing test, I was asked to write a pitch e-mail for a paper clip.
Account Executive
It was a very informal process. The recruiter was a bit weird, she talked about her personal life during the first phone call, which was odd but made me feel more comfortable. Then I met the team a few weeks later. The office seemed nice at first, but as things progressed, something felt wrong. The team didn't seem excited about the company's work, and I learned that the company only had month-to-month clients, which made some people uneasy (like a house of cards).
- Were the questions asked broad and not difficult?
Account Director
First, there was a phone interview. Then, I had an in-person interview over two days with a few staff members. I also had to do a writing test where I got a product with its launch details and had to create a promotion plan.
- Which brand would you choose to work for if you had the option?
Strategist
