I went through 7 rounds of interviews for the position, and the process dragged on longer than necessary. Although the technical interview went well and they expressed interest in extending an offer, I never received responses to my follow-up emails and was eventually ignored.

So there were 4 stages for this job. First was a HackerRank test, then an interview with the VP of CTO, followed by an interview with the team lead, and finally an interview with the CTO. The HackerRank assessment was supposed to be a good evaluation, but I felt it was too long and I couldn't finish all the questions due to time constraints. The second interview was technical, but they didn't even mention my HackerRank results. The third was also technical, but I didn't make it to that stage. The last interview was about how well I work in a team and if I'd be a good fit. It was a negative experience because they never even got back to me with the results.

To get hired or have a solid interview at TAV, the main thing is to network and use your contacts. The interviews aren't super structured and really depend on the manager. TAV is very results-driven and not always structured. You need to be able to hit your targets without much direction. This is because TAV started as a Build-Operate-Transfer company to build and run the Istanbul airport for less than 10 years. Even though they have a much longer contract now, their original goal of getting results fast and making profits is still a big part of their culture.

So basically after they got my resume, the HR Director called me for an interview. It was based on my resume and they went through almost every sentence. They asked about my goals and what department I wanted to work in. After that, they collected department quotas and placed me based on those quotas.
