The interview process was disjointed, confusing, and disrespectful, especially considering it was the final stage. There wasn't a clear process or set of steps. They asked questions that didn't seem relevant to the job description. When I asked about the biggest challenges of the role, they struggled to answer, with different people giving varied responses or admitting they didn't know. I noticed the company's core values listed on their website didn't match the three values mentioned in the job description. It felt like the company was unsure of its direction after the founder's departure, aiming for an upscale Panera Bread model. The stores themselves were just functional, quick-serve places with a decent vibe, lacking any real 'wow' factor. The feedback provided for my rejection included skills not mentioned in the job description and never assessed during the interviews. Overall, it was a disjointed, confusing, and disrespectful experience.
