It was a pretty long and drawn out interview process that eventually led to an onsite interview. That onsite was a panel interview where I met with my boss and future coworkers. The HR rep, who is no longer with the company, was really bad at communicating.

First, I had a phone screening with HR. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager over the phone. After that, I had another interview where I met with different people from the company, including members of the team I'd be joining and some senior folks like the CTO and R&D president. I heard back within a few days. It was a pretty fast process overall.

I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and was invited to interview on-site. I prepped for the on-site interview and researched the company which made the interview process a lot easier. I learned after the interview that they would only reimburse me for the airfare and the hotel. I had to pay for all other costs.
