The interview process included a technical interview and an HR cum situation-based interview. The technical interview lasted about 35 minutes and had 4 interviewers. They asked questions from my resume, focusing on my third-year projects, and also technical questions on Machines and Power System. For the technical part, they mentioned they can ask anything from the resume, summer internship, minor, and final year projects. It's important to be thorough with every detail of the resume, projects, and internship. Also, brush up on the basics of major subjects like Machines, Power System, and Network Theory. They advised not to take pressure and to treat it like a class viva. The HR interview was situation-based, involving organizational and teamwork scenarios, along with ethical questions, to assess job fit. For the HR interview, extracurricular activities are helpful. It's recommended to take time to understand situations before answering and maintain calm body language.

So I'm sharing my interview experience at TPDDL from campus recruitment. First, there was an online written test by AMCAT with questions on aptitudes, reasoning, English, and technical topics. The aptitude and technical parts were a bit hard. Out of 31 students who took the test, 11 were selected for the interview. We then went to the office at Hudson Lane, GTB Nagar. A person did document verification, and then a team of 3 people interviewed us. They said they'd mail us in 2-3 days. This implies they will contact us for the next steps, which usually involve background checks and then an offer if successful.

So before the actual interview, there are two online assessment tests. The first one is about core subjects, and the second one is an aptitude test. After you clear those, you'll have an online interview. It's a panel interview with about 5-6 members, and they include HR. So this is basically your only round, covering both technical and HR aspects.
