Software Engineer
So I applied online, then had an initial chat with HR about my background and why I'm interested in this role. After that, I did a technical interview focusing on SQL, Java, and general problem-solving. The last part was a behavioral interview, where they wanted to see how I work with others and if I fit the company culture. The whole thing took about two weeks, and they kept me updated.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell me about your educational background?
- Which programming languages do you know?
- Could you walk me through your final year project?
Software Engineer
So, there were three interview rounds total. The first one was technical, and they hit me with questions about basic stuff like the OSI model, cloud concepts (APIs, Microservices, deployment/service models). They asked about cloud because I said I was into it, and, you know, they do cloud stuff too, so that made sense. They also asked about Python decorators and to figure out the output of two Python code snippets involving lists. Plus, they wanted me to demonstrate how APIs are triggered by looking at a webpage. The second technical round was more about implementation details. Like, they asked what virtualization is and if apps run better virtualized or on-prem. The feedback after that was to really nail down our concepts and use more specific performance terms, like talking about instructions per CPU cycle and stuff. The last round was with HR, and it was all scenario-based questions, plus the classic 'why should we hire you?'
- Tell me about the OSI Model.
- What are APIs?
- Can you describe Microservices?
Senior Software Engineer
In total there were 3 rounds. The first round was completely focused on technical stuff about python, machine learning, and neural networks. The second round was a managerial round. Then there was a final hr and English test.
- Tell me about Python oops concepts.
- Can you explain ML algorithms?
- What are neural networks?
