Behavioral Technical

The interview process was absolutely awful and took months. I was scouted by a senior executive and went through three rounds of interviews. They told me I was selected but then kept me hanging for a year by saying the offer was imminent. Horrible experience.

Got a call from a consultant about my profile and salary expectations. Got shortlisted in a week. First round was a detailed discussion about my current experience. The second round was scheduled with the contact centre head, but he cancelled it last minute after seeing my LinkedIn profile. He rescheduled it for two days later. During this discussion, he was arrogant, didn't introduce himself, and seemed uninterested. His first question was "Tell me something which I should know?". He acted like a big shot and mentioned he wasn't aware of the role and needed to discuss hiring needs with a subordinate. For 15 minutes, he acted like a boss. He eventually said he'd talk to his team and HR would update me. This was highly unprofessional for a senior person. After that, there was no update from HR. I emailed but got no response. HR should monitor these calls and record interviews to prevent such unprofessional behavior from senior leaders.
