It was a pretty standard interview process. First, there was an initial screening, then I met with the hiring manager, and it all wrapped up with some panel interviews. The whole thing took about a month, and they made their decision pretty quickly.

It was a super easy interview process, just be your honest self. They took me on a tour of the warehouse. I was told to dress to impress and just show up! Being on time is important. A firm handshake and eye contact are key! It's also important to show you're interested in the job.

Behavioral Technical

So Tarkett's interview process is pretty good and detailed. You start with HR to check your background and if you fit the role. If you pass that, you'll have an interview, either in person or online, with the hiring manager and your potential teammates. This is your chance to see if the company and job are a good fit for you, and for them to see how your skills match what they need. They might even show you around the office. They'll ask about your past experiences, why you're interested in Tarkett, and what motivates you. It's a well-organized and professional process that gives you a real sense of the company's culture and goals.

I had a phone call where I introduced myself. Then we discussed teamwork and how I solve problems. For teamwork, they asked about my experience dealing with a difficult teammate and what I did about it. For problem-solving methodology, they wanted to know what I learned in school, like design thinking, lean, or Six Sigma.

  • Explain your experience with teamwork, specifically how you handled a difficult personality.
  • What steps did you take to resolve issues with a challenging teammate?
